|Time Taken :||1 month|
|Though it is not me in the photos wearing this costume I did make the majority of everything on it so i am putting it on my profile. The man wearing the costume is my husband and fellow cosplayer Kay-Chan from Japan.|
The jacket is store bought, due to time constraints I had to have a costume ready for him for Tokyo Game Show 2010 but due to the fact that I was accepting commissions at the time it really reduced how much time I had for personal costumes. The jacket was well made and fit him well BUT the shoulder pads on it were hilariously mis shapen so I ripped them off the costume and made another set from polystyrene and pleather. The arms of the jacket were also too long and a bit too wide so i took them in a few inches and made the bangles from airdry clay and craft foam then riveted onto the jacket.
The soldier belt I made from cowhide leather, the pants from stretch pleather and the boot tops from pleather and metal buckles.
The sword is handmade from epoxy putty, wood and plaster.
