Description
Well doodle-do that. After scratching off Hetalia plans for Auchinawa 2008 and countless conventions since, I am so determined to bloody cosplay from this series this time around!!

I adore Spain, though he's not someone I'd ever thought I'd plan on cosplaying. After hopefully roping in Taruto as Romano, we'll be tanned up, tomato-loving Mediterranean bro's in the middle of a Scottish winter~

His outfit is pretty simple, so hopefully if we make Romano's at the same time we can save on pattern time and share material costs etc etc.

Because, well, I love Hetalia and I'll be damned if it gets put off again!!

And future Bad Touch Trio y/y/y/y/y/y?!?!?!?

Progress-ish (Posted 1st November 2010)

Well... This isn't me... Though since me and Taru are going to be wearing identical costumes I figured it made sense to show how it was going.

I think it looks pretty neat so far, first time ever making something properly uniform-y! It needs the collar, sleeve turn-ups and hemming, but every damn bit of this is overlocked, double-biased and top stitched. Hooray for machine-washable costumes!

The only /problem/ is, we had to cut out two of these uniforms from 3 metres of fabric... Which left us with... problems. The trousers are about 5 inches off the ground, sleeves have fake turn-ups, pockets are fake, waistbands will be made from a different material and the trousers maaaay have to be taken up a lot more to compensate for the fact there's no material left to make the collars... Looooool.

Well, in better news, we have red spandex to make tomatoes <3
