| Rin is my favourite Vocaloid, and MAGNET is my favourite Vocaloid song right now ^^ Rin and Len's version is just lovely ^^ Also, butterfly headphones are made of cute. I've designed my own version of this, as there's no official reference. It will be a black dress with a lace underskirt and yellow ribbon detail. Around the waist there'll be a yellow sash tied at the back with a bow. It shall be worn with black arm warmers, black tights and my cute black shoes c: I've made a black velvet ribbon choker to go with this. It crosses over at the front, with a butterfly charm at the base of and a yellow bead on the bit that crosses over. The headphones are normal headphones, with wings made from craftfoam, yellow acetate, copious amounts of superglue and sparkly gems. PROVISIONALLY SET FOR MAY EXPO but this depends on when my exams are :/ Test-ran in Cardiff Anime Society's cosplay cafe. Seemed to go well enough, though I definatly need to wear heels with this rather than flats, as the skirt length otherwise makes me look short XD | |

Back to work (Posted 23rd February 2011) Ehh got all preoccupied with other costumes, namely Selphie (WIG :/), but continued progress on this today by starting the lace underskirt. It's all sewn, just needs to be attached to the dress somehow. Planning on getting this done for Saturday for a cosplay cafe, though I wont have my shoes (left them at home like a fail) |

Dress (Posted 12th January 2011) Started making the dress today. I still need to hem it, make the underskirt and put in the straps and decorations. Other than finishing the dress, I just have to make the arm thingimajigs. Cant believe how quick this one is going! |

headphones (Posted 22nd December 2010) Started making the butterflies for the headphones today with craft foam and yellow acetate (spelling?)~ I also have some sparkly gems to make them pretty ^^ Just need some yellow pipecleaners now EDIT my lovely sister went to HMV for me while I was at work and got me some headphones. The wings are all cut out and stuck together, I just have to paint the phones, and attach the wings and sparkles EDIT2 (24th Dec) Headphones are done. I just have to decide whether to cut the cords or not c: |

Two steps forward, one step back (Posted 20th December 2010) Got my wig yesterday ^^ (its been at home for over a week :/) it's so lovely! I just have to style the fringe with the hairclips I bought today. I looked at headphones again today and realised the ones I was going to buy aren't right at all. How annoying! I thought they went over the head, but they go round behind, which isnt what I want at all. ALso the phones aren;t smooth so it would be hard to paint on the pattern. Boo!! |

Wig! (Posted 30th November 2010) I bought my wig for this the other day ^^ Its really cute, and I can't wait til it arrives. I also have seen a perfect pair of headphones to customise and aren't too expensive c: Possibly going shopping for fabric tomorrow, depending on how much I spend on Christmas presents~ |
