Description
This was made from a ballet suit coloured with black permanent marker - it took hours to do and if I'm honest I'm not 100% happy with the result, but it was done quickly and was ok for photoshoots and MCM Expo. The collar and cuffs were sewn on a very basic machine but were made from scratch. I chose to do the mask using facepaint, as it was easier and more comfortable for long periods of time and I feel had just as good effect. As I had no time to make or buy her usual head-dress, I chose to portray Harley with pigtails instead tied with red and black hairbands, and for the shoes the best I had was a pair of black heels with little bows on the front. Cute, but damned hard to walk in, I think I spent more of the Expo carrying them than wearing them! I don't know if I'll use this costume again, or start from scratch with a new bodysuit and see if I can buy a hat and boot toppers somewhere. Either way, the costume was fun, especially when a good friend of mine took me to a park to do a photoshoot :) it's fun to play around as Miss Quinn :D
