I am a Greek mythology/literature buff, and when I heard about the Troy film I got very excited. (I was irritated upon seeing it because they messed with it, but that's another story) The idea of, essentially, cosplaying from the Iliad appealed to me, and I thought Phil would make a beautiful Paris, so I chose to do Helen. It's not really detailed enough as the DVD wasn't out yet and there was a lack of available reference, but for a reasonably simple Sunday costume it turned out OK. I do, however, hate how I look in this wig. It is largely responsible for me almost entirely swearing off blonde cosplays.

I loved your Helen cosplay. Thought You and Phil looked great. I too looked forward to the film but hated what they did with it. I thought you looked stunning in your cosplay and thought you did an excellent job.
