|This is one of what I regard my first "proper" costumes, in that it was constructed from scratch instead of adapted from bought clothing. I even made up a pattern for the top, something I'd never even dreamed of before.|
It's made of leatherette and lace, with chainmail links painstakingly inserted for the decoration. The prosthetic is latex, created on a face cast with clay and painted over with liquid latex. The wig is a combination of a 3/4 wig and a number of ringlet curl extensions glued into the prosthetic.
Unfortunately the contact lenses I found, which were the perfect colour, had a tear in them and were excruciatingly painful until I could take them out.
