This is one of what I regard my first "proper" costumes, in that it was constructed from scratch instead of adapted from bought clothing. I even made up a pattern for the top, something I'd never even dreamed of before.
It's made of leatherette and lace, with chainmail links painstakingly inserted for the decoration. The prosthetic is latex, created on a face cast with clay and painted over with liquid latex. The wig is a combination of a 3/4 wig and a number of ringlet curl extensions glued into the prosthetic.
Unfortunately the contact lenses I found, which were the perfect colour, had a tear in them and were excruciatingly painful until I could take them out. |
