|One of my Steampunk outfits.Semi formal rig, worn at Travelingman Otaku Attack in Leeds, and the Asylum Steampunk gig in Lincoln.|
Black frock coat, and grey cavalry twill unmentionables, made by me. Waistcoat and shirt, charity shop bargains. Cravats, one made from black Hobatai silk worn over a stiffener, the other, coloured one, made from a piece of an old silk sari. Top hat from "Tom Norbury Hatts", boots from a militaria fair (East German Police apparently) blue glasses from my local Magic Shop (yes we have one in Armley). Slung round my neck a WWI (1914) era military compass.
I have an Inverness cape to go with this that, I made some 20 years ago when I made the frock coat, which can be seen worn by Richard in one of the photo's, who I am trying to lure to the Dark Side, (steampunk cosplay, that is).
I am making a new frock coat soon, the old one is not unwearable, but I think I am just that bit wider than I was.
