Description
Made for the Cosplay Cruise and Ame Ball. The base fabric is a heavy white duchess satin and is lined with white stretch cotton as I dislike regular lining fabrics. The skirt has a top layer of pale blue chiffon with the wrap designed to match but made with a blue duchess satin. All torso seams are detailed with beaded trim as well as the straps. The base skirt has large beaded butterflies and the chiffon layers has around 50+ smaller butterflies all hand sewn. An extra butterfly was used as a brooch for the wrap and my neighbour was lovely enough to give me a large one to use as a fascinator! Learned? Do not like sewing chiffon! XD
