| Basically this is an upgrade of the No More Heroes cosplay I did last year - fixing minor costume mistakes I had and adding in the extra parts for the new look in the game. The main costume for Travis remains largely unchanged in No More Heroes 2 though his signature look now involves him welding the dual welding beam katanas call Rose Nasty (I assume because of the reddish pink colours) Unluckily I couldn't spend as much time as I liked on this due to work sending me away for training for most of the time before Amecon 2010 so it became a little bit of a rush job (I had to actually do some last minute spraying in my room at Ame) The straps Travis wears are a new addition and were reasonly simple to construct using some clip buckles and some red webbing. The beam katanas are basically LED saber toys I converted from colour change sabers to red only and then added the extra hand guard parts over the casing. If I had more time I would have sanded the outer balsa wood parts more smoothly as I found the wood still showed up on close inspection. The actual "blades" were a little short in that dept but fairly decent given the time constraints It still got a good reaction from people on the day though so I was happy with what I had.
