Description
For sjbonnar's Pokemon themed meet/birthday get together =) More photoshoot pics coming soon, but until then, you'll have to make do with random snaps from around the con =P Meowth is easily one of my favourite Pokemon. I was gonna do one of the Eevee evolutions but this turned out to be lots more fun <3 I had a little basket of chocolate coins to hand out (also read as: Loose Change attack people 8D), and I still came home with most of them D= Damn you anime fans, I thought you loved chocolate =P Most of the costume was pretty simple to make; the dress was panelled to make it flare, with some netting underneath; the apron was ridicously easy to sew thanks to how lovely the material was (though it was heavily chocolate-stained from how many of those darn coins I ended up eating myself!) The cape and hood were easily the hardest part of this costume. I padded it with a double layer of wadding, then made the charm out of fimo. Then I had to go through the trauma of making each individual whisker, which is far harder than it looks =O This was a lovely, relaxing costume to wear and it's definitely going to be making an appearance at cons in the future =)
