Description
An original design - a historically inspired walking dress. To a certain extent, this one is getting made up as I go along, with a dominant colour palette and overall shape rather than a specific period. The plan is for a sheer blouse with cravat, a redingote or similar riding coat with a full skirt and mock waistcoat front, a gathered or draped apron over skirt and a full decorated petticoat. Probably finished with boots, gloves, and an extravagant hat, because I like extravagant hats. The colour palette is white accented with shades of tarnished gold, dull amber, yellowish olive and yellowish sage.
