Tiduus227 - I bought the saber from a person who bought it from another person who had it comissioned XD i intend to find somewhere that will cast it so i can have a lighter version to swing about a bit.

Maul is for Sunday, part of the huge Star Wars cosplay group. I will be in a hotel this time so instead of wasting half the day travelling I should be around Expo most of the day before dissapearing back stage for masquerade sometime in the afternoon. Should be some opps to clash lightsabers and get some great pics :)
Is your lightsaber a light up one?

No 'fraid not, all the Luke sabers that have blades aren't accurate because they need somewhere to slot the tube into but we can just pretend the blades are in contact and then photoshop it XD

Oh yeah I see, Lukes is pretty narrow at the top.

I'm not sure that Expo will allow me to carry the double saber around cuz it exeeds their weapons length rules, so I'll probs leave that at the cosplay desk - I have a friend who has a Darth vader FX saber..I wonder if he will let me borrow it for Expo. :P

I'm not sure if i'll be able to carry mine around either, it's solid metal XDD

Then prepare for insanity, esp on sat it will be jam packed in there. But if it is not raining there are plenty of places to go outside to escape the crush of people. The hard part is meeting up with who you are trying to meet up with, because you've never seen so many cosplayers all together in one place.

I'm sure Darth Maul will stand out a bit though, even in a cosplat crowd, just have your lightsaber on lol

Yeah you can see why they like weapons to be peace bonded in the Expo hall. Outside though you can usually find some spaces to do photos and stuff.

Saber looks nice, where did you end up getting the boots?

They're from SafetyPlusEquine and were surprisingly cheap for a proper pair of riding boots, also i've been meaning to say, have you seen DC Universe online yet?

Meant to ask which particular costume are you doing from Jedi are you doing the Jabbas Palace Cloak and tunic or the Endor/Death Star Battle where he has taken the tunic off and just has the turtle kneck?
