Description
I’ve wanted to cosplay Goujun ever since I first brought volume one of Saiyuki Gaiden. This was a big challenge for me and very experimental, I’ve never done anything that involves prosthetics or theatrical make-up before and it defiantly shows. ^^;; The costume itself is incomplete, but I’m classing it as finished as I don’t know if I will ever make the shoulder amour or cape. If I do I’ll update the photos. The costume is good, but the make-up lets it down badly and the fact my eyes are shooped as I can’t ware contacts and especially not sclera lenses. >_< Anyways, all that aside. This is Goujun, Commander of Heavens Western army and Dragon King of the Western Ocean. Quite a stoic chap though you get the impression as Saiyuki Gaiden continues that he's very much torn between his head and his heart. I love him to bits and I hope that one day someone will do an epic cosplay of him. Mine's a rather lacking tribute.

*flails* OMG! This is sooo cool! I think the make up looks really good and I love your wig! O_O I Wish you would do the shoulder armour though. There is not enough Saiyuki Gaiden cosplay, let alone of Goujun! Well done! ^^

It's so rare to see Saiyuki cosplay, let alone AWESOME Saiyuki cosplay outside of the 4 main characters. And damn you for being able to pull off a white wig so well.
