|Time Taken :||Not very long|
As much as I'd love a Hogwarts School Uniform, I'd rather have a pink wig. Also, I saw a cloak/cape in a charity shop and I had to buy it, so now I have to find an actual, practical use for it... so Tonks it is! The cloak, is swishy, but it's black, I wanted a red one, but it was gonna cost £40, so I settled on this magical find for a tenner instead... Plus, my design for the Weird Sisters t-shirt is pretty spectacular. I wore a version of this to the HP7 launch, but forgot my camera, so that was a bit useless... And again to a Cosplay Scotland meeting in the summer of 2007. It's essentially a closet costume, so it changes each time I wear it, though some things remain the same. It's sort of a back-up, but it's comfy and fun.
Closet Cosplay worn to Nick and Tina's Villians party in 2008. Some costumes just make you act a certain way whether it's canon to do so or not... I spent quite a bit of time prancing and whining and also being really, really rediculously stereotypically camp gay. It was really weird, but fun. The waistcoat was a hit and got petted a lot all night and my cape did the rounds. I'll probably wear it again eventually with bindings because it's comfy, simple and smart.

I love Luna and pretty much if I was to be likened to any canon character from the HP universe, most people would compare me to her. We have a similar sense of dress and eccentric-ness.
Also, I was gifted a lovely 1960's party/evening dress by my gran that would make fabulous dress robes fit for Loony Luna, I already have a suitable blonde wig and a sunfower hair clip. The only things I've needed to make are her Hallows pendant and raddish earrings (might even make the butterbeer cork necklace if I can be bothered). Basically another closet-ish free job.

It is of course sod's law that I broke my pendant when I put it on. lol.
