| Coat (leatherette) commission by Tab of Khaos Kreator Sword made from hard wood, that I have painstakingly sculpted using chisels and then sanded using a belt sander, then primed, painted and sealed. Waistcoat is real leather that I stitched together using a machine. Stitched buttonholes which bought belts could go through. Amulet is a plastic red gem that i have glue a mirror to and then sculpted the body out of clay which I then primed and painted. It gives a nice glow when light shines on it and hits the mirror behind the stone. | |

ayacon 2011 (Posted 28th August 2011) I wore this cosplay again for ayacon. Made some improvements to the sword, it's now the awakened version (well it has an open crossguard now, but the skull mouths remain closed). |

Planning stage (Posted 11th August 2010) So far, Ive only bought the wig for this cosplay (which has yet to arrive, but should look cool - image below) Im currently deciding what colours to use. If you notice from my cartoon reference, the entire costume is one tone of colour, but if you look at the CG references, the coat is a burgundy, and the waistcoat and trousers are a lighter shade similar to red. I will be commissioning Tab to make the trenchcoat for me (I dont have the time to make one myself in time for expo, and plus this way Im sure itll look super) and I will contruct the rest myself, including the making of the Rebellion sword out of wood. Which is something I promised myself I wouldnt do again, after the hefty task it was to make my D sword. However, this time I have power tools to help me get through that, so hopefully itll turn out OK. |
