Description
I chose to make it as Nanaki was my favourite character from Final fantasy 7. It was a challenge as this was my first ever cosplay and I had to make paws and learn to style a wig as such. The easiest part was fabric spraying the modified clothing underneath. I need to reinforce the top to stop it bunching up in rolls as the paint has made it stiff. I also need to add more wefts to the wig too and touch up the paws. I may redo the bands as there has been too much wear and tear, probably need to make them out of a different material to craft foam. The tail I will need to add fishing string to make it stay up and move around. May need to redo the tail in a much more flexible material if that is the case but we shall see! I think I will also change the make up to make it look a lot more wolfy/catty. I learnt most of all that making cosplay outfits is incredibly frustrating (its 1am but I must..keep PAINTING!!] but the results are awesome :D Time management is key as its difficult to find the time to do a costume alongside a postgrad degree. Nevertheless, this shouldn't put anyone off making an animaly costume.

ooh, neat interpretation. Using a corset to emphazise the waistline was a great idea. I also like how you included the firey highlights on his legs, just like in the artwork. Your mane of hair is very effective as well!
