Description
I adore Princess Peach. She is well and truely the stereotypical story princess: getting kidnapped, fancy dress... The dress was mostly sewn by my mum, so she gets all the credit. It was made using pink fancy material (spensive too ;.; ), following a mixture of patterns. The darker pink parts are just cotton. To make it poof, I made a bustle using spare pink cotton and stuffed with toy stuffing. This definately makes it poofy! It also feels like an armchair when I sit down. I remember many ass jokes being said at that expo! I'm pretty proud with the crown. I made it from cardboard, which I painted a light gold and added darker gold detail with a fine paintbrush. The 'jewels' are earrings I bought and painted with nail polish. The wig was a simple long blonde wig (even though my hair is long and blonde :/) which was styled by a hairdresser who specialises in wigs and extensions. I think she did a wonderful job! Once the wig was styled, I attached the crown to it using interlocking kirby grips. I bought a mushroom plush at the expo, using the excuse that it goes with the costume. His name is Terrance XD
