| I've wanted to cosplay the Postman for a little while now, he was an instant favorite character of mine. I'll probably only end up making the jacket, hat and Paru for this cosplay and just wear black tousers because I'm swamped with cosplays for October xD Looking foward to cosplaying him with the GAC group! Maybe we'll get a Strahl... Since I'm forcing myself into accuracy for the jacket, I've added every single black stripe from the artwork onto it. Even under the sleeves, which was kinda hard. I'll also make two of the pockets functonable so that I can put letters in them =3 22/09/10 Tis complete! 8D Well, as good as anyway. Just needs a tweak and tidy here and there, but it's all done! Some parts of it look a bit awkward, but meh, I'll live. I'm most pleased with the bag, my mom and I had awesome thoughts about how to make it sturdy x3 01/11/10 I had fun :'D Only people from the group recognized me, but I wasn't expecting anyone else to know who I was anyway xD My costume looked a bit better than I thought it would, my hat held out and my bag was usable (Thank God! xD) Our small but awesome group was awesome! Loved meeting you guys! Only bad thing was I forgot my BRAND NEW gloves in my hotel room like a derpy derp. 80%~! 8D (Posted 16th September 2010) As of today, most of the cosplay is finito! Knocked out the bag in less than 2 hours today, I looooove making bags! <3 Paru was finished 3 days ago. I made his body a good few weeks ago now, but messed up his head and gave up for a bit. Took me 3 flippin' times to get that head looking decent! And he still looks a bit demented, but I'm not trying again. Hopefully him being on my shoulder will make him look cuter xP Despite some not-as-nice-as-I-planned things with this cosplay, I'm pretty satisfied with it and I'll be sure to wear it a few times^^ |
