| Truth to be told, I've always wanted to cosplay as him, hohoho but I knew I can't pull off as a kid but PUSH THIS TO SUMMER EH? OTL OTL So much to do for this summer but I hope to get the courage to sew again 8D This is for a shoot that Yas flailed to do a shoot with one of her friends that's coming over here to London for a short bit and she (FORCED) asked me to be Markl and it works (height difference wise) for all three of us. This is sooo going to be fun o3o~ I just hope the weather can decide to be nice for the rest of the summer, would be so happy (I think everyone would) xD I love the film and I fell in love with it when Yas bought it before we went to France on holiday this one summer. We kept on watching it throughout the summer, fun times, fun times *thumbs up* I hope I can pull him off, I get to wear green, win *3*~ So looking forward to shooting with our Howl and Sophie, WHY IS THERE HARDLY ANY PICTURES OF MARKL?! D:< ...pfttt if anyone can find me more references of him, that'd be so cool, thank you *3*~ <3 [ EDIT.21.06.10 ] I got material for Markl's shorts and waistcoat :'D £7.50 - Material 50p - thread 20p - zip [ EDIT.23.06.10 ] The waistcoat is still work in progress but the shorts are finished, woop~ Got a quite few more to do now :) [ EDIT.03.07.10 ] WHY DIDN'T I DO ANYTHING THIS WEEK FOR MARKLY?! D:< FFF I seriously fail at making a cosplay within two weeks otl I didn't look around for any wigs because...I have no idea why, I must of forgot, so I'll be using Yas' brown wig, which somewhat will disappoint me because his hair isn't brown, more like ginger brown. Yas helped me with the purse/bag and 'belt'. We didn't have a belt that could go around my damn huge thighs of mine, so we used a black tie and for the purse/bag, Yas made a cover for it, using an actual small bag that she has. lol ghetto is that? *shot* We watched the film over and over and will be using Yas' raspberry coloured tights and for the shoes...it won't be right. I'll be wearing my ankle boots. I'll try to finish Markl's waistcoat off but I kind of doubt it with the way I'm going right now. I know most of the things I'll be wearing for Markl won't be right but I can pull off doing it, right? I feel bad that most of these things are rushed. I can't wait for the shoot later on the shoot, win *thumbs up* Thank you Yas for helping me with this cosplay~ Another edit. I got the waistcoat finished, why didn't I do that at the beginning of the week? *shot* | |

Waist Coat Part 2 (Posted 23rd June 2010) Um....I was wearing shorts when I took these pictures 8D;; otl Also, when I was taking pictures, I wasn&#039;t wearing binding *shot* From the pictures, it looks a tad more gray than the colour of the material itself o__O; But the colour is more brighter than this, trust me. I know the colour of the material is wayyy darker than Markl&#039;s waistcoat, I must admit, I based it off from memory but this goes to show that I need to look at Markl more xD;; I cheated on the wasitcoat I also admit. I tried to do it like you button on the waistcoat, easy to take off and on but since I adjusted the back, it was a bit tight on me, so I took all of the stitching from there and sewed the opening of the waistcoat together....did I make sense there? But I can still take it off on easy but just not the right way I guess. I&#039;ve yet to start on the shorts, so I&#039;ll do that....at the beginning of next week...? The bow wasn&#039;t made by me, it was made by Skye, from her Elizabeth cosplay that she sold to Yas early this year and Yas told me that I could use her bow for Markl, woop woop. The white shirt is...slightly off but it will do for now. As for the wig, I won&#039;t be wearing it for Markl xD I&#039;m going to try to get a wig that is ginger brown-ish, you know what I mean and hopefully I&#039;ll find one in the local wig shops nearby. I noticed that 3metres was a bit too much for me, should of got 2, but heck, I could totally make something out of it if I ever need green material again XD;; The gold button fell off from my Syaoran but I haven't sewed it on, but instead, I safety pinned it on, until I go and get more buttons. I need to buy another pair of buttons for the back and the waistcoat will be done! Hurrah~ And then there's the shorts, socks/tights thing, wig and shoes. Wish me luck on the shorts, I tried a couple of months ago and I just failed XD |

Material~ (Posted 21st June 2010) The shade of the material.....is a tadddddd darker than the actual colour OTL I was going to sew but Yas claimed the sewing machine first, so I'll start it tomorrow because I just broke up from college, woooo~ LOOK AT THIS FREE TIME 8D *shot* But I shall try to be a bit more...active tomorrow, I can't wait to get Markl finished. I need to buy two buttons for the back of his waist coat *takes buttons from Syaoran* orz This is so not related to this but I got red tights from the costume room today, win~ And something else that I will use for another cosplay *shot* |
