| This is my sprite interpretation of Faris from Final Fantasy V. I thought "she's a pirate, a pirate captain, and should therefore be garbed up accordingly." I found some belly dancer hipscarves on eBay for a VERY small amount of cash (a few quid quite literally for some of them) and looked at them again and again. Coins. Pirate. Coins. Pirate. Ok, they'll look good. So, I tried to put everything together with 'the pirate in mind'. | |

Main costume just about finished (Posted 27th July 2010) As the heading says, it's pretty much done. I'm just waiting on the wig and a few other bits to arrive. I intend to add a sword later on though. |

My Interpretation (Posted 26th July 2010) I have almost finished my interpretation of the sprite of Faris from Final Fantasy V. I added a little bit of an Amano effect I think, but as she's a pirate I decided to make the pieces I bought for her "pirate style". I will get a sword for her eventually, but right now I need to concentrate on the others. I'll add pictures of the sword when I get one. |

Yeah. It's currently just me and you, and Sasashie has the red version up too. That's it! Not good really. Hopefully when we get more versions done (and Sasashie too) people will be more interested in her!

I love your Faris design! I can't believe I never noticed this :) I'm happy you have her purple hair, I'm not sure why, but I prefer the purple to the blonde :)

I think I like my second version with the jacket-dress a little better, but both of them work I guess.
Yeah, I see the purple hair as being more interesting too, although the blonde is the Amano design, and I intend to do those versions too.
