The Shoulder Pad (Posted 22nd June 2010)
Current progress of the shoulder pad. I started it off by making a metal oval frame with mesh and strips of Aluminum to become a surface to work on. All the mesh and Aluminum strips were sewn together with thin flexible wire using a weaving technique, the outer surface was then covered in layers of Modrock (bandage sheets) then smoothed with my fingers.
The Claws (Posted 9th June 2010)
Aluminum, Apaxy Resin, Rubber, Gold Enamel spray paint.
Cut the Aluminum into the required shapes to allow them to slot together with ease, glued rubber to the inside to allow comfort on the fingers, bent into the oval shapes with Plyers, glued together on the joints with Apaxy Resin then finaly sprayed with gold Enamel.
