Description
I fell in love with this character as soon as I saw her. Such a brilliantly unique design for what essentially is a 'mermaid'. She's based on a Koi Karp, so I've heard. Check out the anime if you haven't seen it, all the non-human character designs are fantastic :) So - my ideas so far: BODY - I'll need a white / skin-colour zentai suit, one that I can dye easily. HEAD/HAIR - Bald-cap and Grey wig as a base... maybe one of those mad scientist wigs? ;) EARS - Will probably make these out thick card and paint it. GILLS - Pink Ostrich feathers, definitely. FINS - Now these will be tough. She can expend them when in the water and they are pinkish/transparent. Maybe some sort of transparent rainbow plastic-paper? Transparent wrapping? Cloth? FACE & EYES - This part is the easiest to do, but also the easiest to mess up! I need really decent facepaint that won't drip when I'm hot. Any suggestions? Eyes... well red contacts :) She has fangs as well, I may buy some, if I can find good ones.
