|Cost :||Hmm, I won't want to spend more than £150|
|Time Taken :||So far, lots of shopping|
|EDIT: It was partly finished for the Ball, I would have liked to have made proper chains for it and of course custom gloves, but I ran out of time so the gloves are vintage ruched oyster satin ones instead... hopefully they look ornate enough not to detract!|
And GRRRR my hair unravelled and got straighter through the night T_T
NEXT TIME, GADGET!!!
I'd like to wear this to this year's Grand Cosplay Ball, if not, to another formal sort of event ^^
I'm really quite puzzled as to how best to go about the base top. I'm thinking White leatherette for a strong hold and shaping, then pearlescent t-shirt paint for for the stained glass colour sections and gold 3D paint for all the accents and edges to stop frays.
The shoes as well - I would love to have real chains. Perhaps a special pair of tights with a couple of fixings that I sew in, then when I put sandals and chains on, I can clip them to the tights?
And OMG the gloves. Perhaps a white satin base to buy, then white leatherette cage I can pull over?
Oh sweet jesus lord the amount of shopping (Posted 25th August 2010)
As the Grand Cosplay Ball gradually edges closer and I'm not doing anyhthing complicated for Expo, I'm beginning my shopping now:
3m of White Leatherette (for bodice + glove cage)
I *think* that's everything...
