hooves complete~ (Posted 25th October 2010) I finished these a while back and only just got round to putting them up here, I've used wire mesh on wedge heels for a base, then built over them with Pva and newspaper, then finally adding a layer of Car-bondo and sanding for many MANY hours. The texture of them is still quite rough, but I think that adds to the effect, I then added fur around the top to finish. As these things are REALLY heavy if you see me wandering around with them in my hand, don't be surprised xDD |

Dress redone (Posted 25th October 2010) On a sewing day recently with Jo (dustee) we talked about how to make the skirt sit better over the underskirts. She came up with the idea that it was too fitted and that I should redo the skirt, taking into fact that I have around 5 days left to make this, I cut the bodice off the dress and Refitted it on me, Then with the cut off skirt and scrap left over,I re-made the skirt, I'm much happier with the way it sits on me now, aswell as the way it looks aesthetically. I know it's not incredibly acurate but I feel that with a video that changes the costume so quickly, I think that's okay ;D |
