| Well, after Elsa did her stunning Alexiel costume, she's decided she wants a third wing and to start an Angel Sanctuary group for Amecon... I didn't know what I was doing on the Saturday, so I've been roped into doing Uriel, the smexy Angel of Death! I've seen him cosplayed with the scythe, but no-one has tried doing his wings...so now I'm going to attempt to do him with his wings AND his scythe. Although, finding a reference picture of him with wings AND the scythe is impossible, hence the two different pictures of him LOL I need to be taller, thinner and much tanned...this is gonna be interesting...LOL EDIT: The Scythe measures 43.5 x 82 inches or 3.6 feet wide by 6.8 feet tall o_O EDIT2: Ok, WINGS ARE ALMOST DONE! Here's hoping I pull it off! The scythe is now completely black and I'm gonna paint the silver blade onto it tomorrow ^_^
in my expert opinion... *cough* the scythe isn't curved enough. ah ha! i'm kidding it looks awesome. it's hard to get props to suppoer themselves when they're that big! ^^

I've been looking at some Angel Sanctury manga and it looks awesome. If you ever decide to do Angel Sanctury again I would love to join in. (now to find a caharcter with white blond hair !!)
LOL Raphael has blonde hair, he's a perverted male doctor angel. Also one of the four Archangels being in charge of the element of wind and the power of life.
(whereas Uriel is Earth and the power of Death)
yaay Uriel! I haven't read Angel Sanctuary but I always feel that in angel mythology Uriel is the least-represented Dark Angel of the lot! (it's always Gabriel this, or Azrael that XD )

It's a REALLY old picture LOL From before the costume was put together. I've thrown the scythe away now LOL But I had to show how they could be done using cardboard ^_^'
