| This costume was a rush job, but I was pretty glad with the outcome. The top part I made by altering a top I already owned, as adding a pattern to brown material would have required a sewing machine, and buying some would've been expensive The skirt is a simple elasticated waist, making it easy to pee in, made out of 2 metres of white material (which feels awful and was about £1.30/m - feels like lining but it's thicker) The sleeves were made using some chiffon I bought for Tess's dress but never got done. The gold trim was the most expensive thing about this dress. I also used rivets for the first time, with I must say great success. They're my favourite bit about this costume :33 3 or 4 people recognised myself and my Arwen xD I plan on rewearing for october with a bigger group, just because it's such a pretty costume compared to erm...others...
