| Wow, this is the hardest costume I've ever made; there's so many details and components. I was wearing 6 layers in some places. The crest on his chest and back was hand-embroided by me. It took forever, but I did it. XD The armour and sword are made of modrock, painted with acrylic and varnished. The armour was tough to wear - the arm bits restricted movement and the knee bits cut into my leg. ¬_¬ The sword was 2m long...very annoying to carry around. Despite all of it's flaws I love it and so I wore it again to the Japanese Arts Festival in February 2010. Any questions - ask! | |
