| Huge Battlestar fan, I've rather fancied doing both original Colonial uniform and the uniform as it is in the new series for a while. With a bundle of Battlestar personalities comming to May Expo now is the time! Ok, I bit off more than I could chew :( Even after calling in mum for sewing support and working on that darned two colour leather piping (all hand sewn) in my lunch hours, at the station, on the bus.. and the train and in the car all the way to Expo I didnt manage to get it finished. Did manage to get the costume wearable for Sunday at Expo but it was missing two sections of piping on the cuffs and was rather ropely done up with stick-on-stick Velcro! So, still in progress. But I was fairly pleased with how it's looking. just a little further to go. | |
