|She made it to LFCC as my sort-of secret second costume, and wearing her was so much fun!|
Sounds selfish, but I'm a bit gutted no-one recongined me, though D:
I bought the Kimono, matching bag and obi as a set from the Kimono shop in Hull, so I can't take credit for this one. I did style the wig myself though, and the fringe needed trimming!
I'm wearing this again to a cosplay picnic here in Hull, so to make it more recongnisable I've made a little Oddish prop to carry with me! He's not perfect but he sure is cute!

Oddish Progress 10 (Posted 20th August 2010)
He's finished! I got him done in about 3 hours overall? I was going to get more progress as I stuffed him but I couldn't find my camera and I had pins all over X3

Well, since I'm re-wearing this costume in the near future, I thought I'd make it more recongniseable by making a little plushie to carry around~ I picked Oddish! Even though Erika has a Gloom... Oddish are easier!

Sewing on the sides of the body~
Oddish Progress 3 (Posted 20th August 2010)
Turned inside out, you can better see the base for the plush. He'll eventually have feet here!
Oddish Progress 4 (Posted 20th August 2010)
I marked where his eyes will go with pins. This also gives you a good view of the body shape. (Yes, I'm aware that it's a bit fat and lumpy.. I made this up as I went along, you know!)
Oddish Progress 5 (Posted 20th August 2010)
First big leaf! THis will sit right in the middle of his head, and I'm hoping to fold it so it sits upright, too.
Oddish Progress 6 (Posted 20th August 2010)
I gave him eyes so he can see! Then I went on Bulbapedia and remembered that Oddish have RED eyes, not black... Derp. Oh well. Mine's special!
Oddish Progress 7 (Posted 20th August 2010)
About 60% done now. He still needs stuffing, but the main leaf is attached to his head so it looks really cute :) While he's un-stuffed I've been keeping my sewing stuff in him!
Oddish Progress 8 (Posted 20th August 2010)
Here's his feet! They're just leftover felt, and they need minimal stuffing too, but they look cute on thier own XD Will attach these right at the end, once they're stuffed and sewn together.
