Description
This was a personal love...so many SF gals are done all too often but Rainbow is a beauty...BUT I can see why shes not done often as the costume was hell to sew. It was built onto a nude bodysuit and made on my manaquinn. So its a very tight fitting outfit and lycra is a pain to sew. 100% handsewn too as machining was impossible. Rainbow has a large bust so enhanced my assests with a formed t-shirt bra which I covered with white lycra. The neck, wrists and bottow ruffles were made with wide white ribbon. The wig was the 2nd one I'd bought but was a nicer golden colour than the first (which was listed as yellow but came through as ginger o.o) but aside from the gravity defying bunches, it is spot on for what I was after. The boots were a bargain from e-Bay and I bought them a while ago hoping to do this outfit and one other...and the knee pads were from Boots or JJB - cant remember as bought them in a last minute rush ^_^; I wore this at London Expo October 2009 but also at Kitacon 2010 but since making it originally, Ive lost 1 and a half stone which is great but means it doesnt fit as well around the arms - thanks goodness the bunches covered the arms! I want to add a little more detail to the outfit plus continue to lose weight but given that she is curvy, I think I pulled her off pretty well ^^;
