| Ranked #1 in Wizard's list of the 100 Greatest Villains of All Time; this has been one cosplay I’ve been thinking for a while that i'd like to do. But one thin that has put me off is that lately a lot of people have cosplayed him; or rather have cosplayed one of 2 versions of him. Either the one from the popular Arkham Asylum game or the late Heath Ledger's version from The Dark Knight film. Now don't get me wrong, i think those are friggin awesome, especially the Heath Ledger version. But the Joker has been stated as someone who every day wakes up and reinvents himself. The only things that remain constant are, his chalk white skin and green hair, extremely sharp red lips, and a predominate purple / green colour scheme. So with that in my Joker, will be different yet still instantly recognizable as "The Clown Prince of Crime". "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! Ha ha ha!" – The Joker, Killing Joke. | |

Reffrence Found (Posted 22nd June 2010) After watching some clips of Batman: the Animated Series, i've found some better reference images which show something closer to the look i'm going for. In particular this video was helpful; It's also got plenty of good reference for Mark Hamill's various laughs he did for the Joker. |

Inital Thoughts (Posted 30th March 2010) Well i bought a purple waistcoat and cravat for part of a costume for a friend's Victorian themed birthday outing. I purchased purple specificity so it could double up for this costume. I'm currently hoping to do this for the October Expo; and see if i can get a DC Villains group going. |
