| Coz its so cute and looks mega comfy! And i wanna cosplay this just so i can get cute photos of me re-enacting the part in the film when she slowly falls asleep to Sebastian talking lol If it gets finished in time, I'm going to take this to Disneyworld when I go in February to get photos and mess about in it in the hotel room teehee. Just because I can XD! I'm also thinking if I can get a chance to wear it, I'll take it to Kita for the sheer LOL's of walking around the Hilton Hotel in a night gown XD! also.. how cute is the icon?????? awwwwww Eric and Ariel are by far the best disney couple! Especially as she's about the only genuine princess from the beginning of the film! Planned events: Disneyworld Holiday Feb 2011-wasn't complete in time Kitacon 3 April 2011 Maybe May expo for the party or something ^_^ May 2011 OR LFCC? | |

Night gown 90% complete (Posted 2nd March 2011) So I'll be using the pink dye for Yuna's sleeves to do the frill trim of this nightgown at the same time. Once this trim has been dyed, and sewn into place (the neckline and sleeves) it will only need the pink ribbon to be sewn into place on the neckline and this cosplay will be complete!! This will have been the cheapest and quickest cosplay I think I've ever had to make myself! As it will be complete before Kita, I have decided to bring it to Kita with me, hopefully to wear for at least half a day. ^_^ |

MATERIALLLL (Posted 5th January 2011) I found the perfect pink material in a charity shop today (actually bed sheets- but loads of it!) so I can put this into "in progress" and make her night gown! YAY!! |

when it comes to making it (Posted 5th November 2010) I have decided to use my Kayako nightgown as a basic pattern for creating this nightgown. Obviously just make it alot longer and add sleeves to it with the ruffle trimming. I'm thinking of making this so I have Ariel's nightgown to sleep in when I go Disneyworld in February LMAO! |

i loooove her nightgown and it does look comfy! and it's a useful cosplay because you can actually use it as PJs, at cons you'll never have to be out of cosplay, lol. Can't wait to see this hun =D
hehe that's one reason why I wanna do it!! So i don't have to pack seperate pj's!! hahaha! I love her nightgown too, it's so cute! I'm tempted to do this for may's expo or her blue glittery gown.. not sure which at the moment! I want to set up a disney/little mermaid group for may's expo

Oh my gosh thank you!! I've been mimicking Ariel since I was 2 years old! ^_^ And it really is comfortable... i ended up that night taking the wig off and falling asleep in my bed in it! XD
