Description
When I watched 'Naruto' Temari was the first person from it I wanted to cosplay. I loved her fire and attitude and the implied relationship between her and Shikamaru. When my boyfriend said he was going to cosplay him I decided it would be a good time to cosplay as Temari. I prefered her Shippuden outfit as I felt like her others were more revealing and I wouldn't be comfortable showing as much skin in my current body size. I bought the cosplay from cosplaymagic for £82 and I bought the wig from there also for £31. I made the fan from wood, black spray paint, white cotton and a stiffener material. It took me about 2 days to make. I started by measuring and cutting 8 planks of wood and sanding the edges. I then drilled a hole in the end and put a nut and bolt into it. I then spread out the spokes to equal length and measured it for the material cutting it into a semi circle and cutting a smaller semi-circle at the end. I then ironed on the stiffener and painted three purple circles onto it. I used fabric glue and super glue to attach it to the planks and then sewed the edges to neaten it up. The material's cost me around £30 overall
