| I love him! He is so awesome, and short so my height is fine for this cosplay ^^. AFter watching Fullmetal Alchemist i have fallen in love with this character, and he looks and acts exactly like Zidane from final fantasy 9/ Dissidia, that care free attitude but when it comes to it a serious fighter. I love his relationship with Al, that no matter what he will get his little brothers body back, and then get his own arm and leg back. I do plan to do his automail for his arm for this cosplay, though it's not going to look easy ><. Will try and get this done for october 2010 expo as leblanc may have to be cancelled. 14/3/10 - Uhhh great, as if aeriths bagns weren't annoying enough, ed has them to lol XD, ahh well nothing i can do, will just have to try my best on this. 21/4/10 - Jesus christ o.0 people are actually joining the group, means i gotta put double the effort in to make ed look good, the group is for october expo, if your interested in joining then check out the topic hehe http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/forum?&c=showthread&ThreadID=2569 Bought some styrene to attempt to do his automail leg, what's the cnhaces it fails and falls apart like my arm automail haha XD *inserts swear word* Damn i went to try it on and what do you know, the thing fell apart, the glue didn't take very well by the looks of it, so after wearing it for 10 minutes it just fell apart, So im not trying it again, i will look up another method, not have automail or as a friend to make it for me instead. Friend made automail due to an accident happening to mine however now expo is over i will make my automail again, it was then edited by me by adding another paint job to it and some tweaking of the elastic as it was made to big for my fingers. Now that expo is over i will also be attempting his automail foot, so this costume can be considered as being in progress still lol. 29/10/10 - Still working on ed but he is near enough done ^^ | |

Coat progress (Posted 13th September 2010) Well here is half my coat progress, the coat so far without the sleeves, Basically took measurments round the back, folded the front of the materia till it met the halfway measurement of me. . and stitched XD, then cut the sides so my arms could do through. . wow so described isn't it XD |

Wig Progress (Posted 24th August 2010) Wig came ages ago and i have just left it until now XD. The wig came styled like this. So far i have cute the wig, neatened it up and bought some awesome stuff that i know will keep his bangs up and odd strand of hair up. So the wig is getting there =D |

Loooool XD i knew id get a comment like that, haha but he is an awesome guy so how could i resist, there are hardly any cosplays i want to crossplay but after seeing fullmetal alchemist, i had to do ed, he has beat even my favourite final fantasy boy ><.

if i can get a lsut and envy together it will make the weekend in my opinion having all 3 main homunculi would be perrrrrfect
One of the girls at japanese art festival did envy and her friend did winry, i might as them if they would want to re wear those costumes at all in october for the group, cause they were both amazing ^^. If we found an al that would add onto the awesomeness as well. If you get all 3 bad guys im gunna have to do a lot of running around lol XD.

I just really took my time on my automail and tried to not let it stress me out. And if there is any bits that you don't think will hold properly with just glue, add a little grey/silver stitch as well. Thats what I did and haven't had any trouble yet :)

Yeah i know, i worked so hard on my automail to just for something to happen to it :'(.
