| I have wanted to do this ever since i saw it, but I though I better wait until I completed the game. I am making this costume and having a demo run through at my local manga night. I love this character and think her costume is cute. I already have the dress , so it's really simple for me to do. My sister Zirco is cosplaying as Apollo Justice to go with my cosplay. and there will be a few suprise props that I will be making XP I bought some materlial for the cape and it's the right colour. Only problem is it is stretchy material. It caused quite a few problems when making the cape with it because both me and the manekin have no shoulders, and since Trucy ties her cape round her shoulders it just kept slipping off. I eventually manneged to get it round the manekin so I could cut it to size. I used Dylon fabric dyes to put the white diamonds, pink heards, diamonds and green spades and clubs to the bottom of my cape. I had to use 4 bottles of whie paind as the fabric was verry absorbant and the first pot soaked in almost completly. However it had hardened the material a bit and made it less absorbant, so that It would stay. The reason it was so many pots was because I had to paint the inside too. I thought the painting would be difficult, but it turned out to be quite simple in the end and looks great. I bought 9 bells to attach to the bottom of my cape, so now when I walk I jingle. I made the top hat out of a cheap to hat I bought. I used it as a base for me to make my hat from. I then covered it in blue card to get the extra height needed. Unfortunatly the card didn't match the colour of the cape as well as I though, and you could see lots of tape where I had made the hat, so I used the extra material from my cape to cover the hat. I bought a bit of ribbon to tie round the hat to finish the look. The dress I already owned. it use to be used for my Anna Kyouyama cosplay. The badges on the dress were made from Fimo as was the badge on the cape. they are detachable so that it can be easy to wach the costume. I made Trucy's bag out of left over card and fabric. it was a bit rushed so it's not great I will make a better one for AMecon, but I couldn't find a heart shaped box anywhere. I was going to get a heart shaped chocolate box and use that as a base, but we had to improvise. The red necktie was made from a shirt my sister used for Lambo before. My friend was supose to bring me his sailor Fuku necktie, but her forgot so I had to improvise. The gloves were free, my mum brought them back from work and said I could have them. I had some left over Fabric, so I made Trucy's magic Panties. My sister bought the frilly material for the edges, and I still had soem Pink Dylon dye left to paint the pants. The boots were £3 from primark. I couldn't find knee high white boots at all, so for now I bought a cheap pair fro my manga night and when I order my wig for the ball I will buy the right boots For Amecon ball I will be making a few changes I wont be wearign the top hat as it was falling off all last night, and I will be wearing a black prom dress in replacement for my short dress. I will be wearing my wig lose aswell. I ll be wearing the normal costume before the ball, but I just thought it would be nicer to make it a bit more elegent. at the mometn my cape is pinned back, and so I will also unpin it for the ball. | |

I can't wait to see your cosplay! :3
We'll have to get our 'Pollys' together and have a few pointing/objecting snap shots! X3
Trucy for the ball? Okay, I've GOT to do Apollo now! The only worry I have is it I can get the make-up off after my Kimahri for the Masquerade ^^;;
