Where to start? o.0
Well, I guess the first thing to say would be that this costume was an origional design, based on the existing designs of a night elf druid character created for the game 'World of Warcraft'.
The costume itself was built up in layers using three main materials;
There were then several attatchments to add to the detail of the cosplay:
-Metal Decorative Plates
The main form of detailing however was done by using a soldering iron to burn patterns or holes into the suede and fleece fabrics, giving texture to the design.
The hardest part of the cosplay was definatly the hood. It took 200 of the small ovals to be cut out, decorated, then stuck together ,,,,I got bored, what can I say XD.
I recently figured out that it takes 21 batteries in 9 torches to keep my costume alight XD,, so much for me being environmentally friendly eh?... (lol)
Unfortunatly not many people noticed the torches in other areas of the cosplay, apart from the eyes in the hood.
I'm hoping to get this cosplay ready for a qualifier to the Eurocosplay event in Amecon if I can scrape together the money needed. After the London expo I realise that I really do need to increase the game of certain parts of this cosplay, especially the lighted areas.
