Costume Information

General
Cost : £40
Time Taken : 30ish hours

Description
The most time consuming of the three kigus for Midlands. The main body was completed in about 5 hours, the rest of the time was taken up by the wings. The black trim was added with fabric glue and the lines were all embroidered on. The fabric glue helps give support to the wings which are also double stitched on up to my shoulders to stop them from drooping so much. I did consider wiring them but it would have made sitting very difficult.

I decided to make this one more fitted than the others as baggy things really don't suit me at all. Fitting was a little more difficult because of this but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
Pics after this weekend.

Ahh, I read on the MCM forums that apparently there was some fake-blood on one of your wings after expo...

As one of the zombies from our cosplay group, I really apologise >.< I don't know if it was us or not, but our costumes were rather gory so it's quite possible. We tried to be extra carefull - we went outside to apply fake blood, didn't give anyone hugs and were really really cautious about peoples costumes. I freaked whenever we were near any pure white costumes!

We tried to be as carefull as possible, but I'm really really sorry to hear that your costume got blood on it. After the amount of time and munny you spent on it too... agghhh I feel really terrible!! >.< So yeah, I dunno if it was us, but it's kinda likely so I'm really sorry. I hope you can save your costume...

Thankfully it's come out fairly well, I went at it with the sponge as soon as I got home so it wasn't on for long. ^^
I don't think it was your group though, I think it was the other group we had to get by near the end of the masq as they'd blocked the door way from watching the dancing. >< Luckily it's coming out so it's all good now but thankyou very much for posting! :3
Huge congrats on the masquerade! I absolutely loved the skit!

Oh thats so good O.O I'm glad you saved it!!
Ahh *relief* I've been feeling terrible all day from worrying about this xD;; I'm really glad it's coming out ok. And thats ok, I know how much it sucks to get a costume dirty (My Roxas jacket got pretty mucky after I lent on the barriers queueing for last october expo xD I was gutted!) so I wanted to apologise properly and not just over the forums. yay for cosplayisland!! XD
And thanks!!!! 8D We had sooooo much fun performing it!!!
