| Undead Pirates FTW!!! I love the SC games, especially the character designs and Cervantes is not only cool but has a really striking detail filled design. I also get to make two desticntly different swords, one mechanical and one organic which I'm really looking forward to. Good practice for making a full Soul Edge! Update 25/03/08 Aha me jimlads! I have bought lots of extreamly purple fabric, so Cervantes is now underway Tasks:- Boots, Hat, Jacket, Armour, Trousers, Pistol Sword & Female Souledge Update 03/06/08 I've started making the swords, simple foam sheet and plastic tube core construction but it's going to get interesting with the addition of the pistol hilt and the organic/fleshy look of souledge! Update 20/06/08 My Pirate boots have arrived, which are cool and err piratey :D The swords are almost done now. Nirvanas pistol has been made with Foamboard and Soul Edges organicy bits have been built up witha combination of paper mache, craft foam and sealant for the veins. Now it's time for some latex and paint. Update 24/06/08 Armour, Belt Buckle and swords are all latexed and ready to be painted Update 20/07/08 Running out of time now but my swords are fully painted, as is my armour. Started making his giant purple hat of doom using felt and material, just the gold triim and details to go on that now. His trousers are also over half sewn, man thats a long job >_< Update 23/07/08 I have a hat, with feathers in it. On to the next job >_< | |

Yep, Mrs James is indeed pleased about that! :-D
And if you boys DID do the team rocket group - there's nothing stopping this Lunar_Kitten from also doing Meowth (James?!) seeing as a cat costume is another thing on my 'want to do at some point' list ... ?
Just a thought.

It's basicaly 4 large felt pieces arranged and stuck together so that they support each other and fall outwards. The felt is then simply cut to shape and covered.
