| I wore this dress to the MCM expo Oct 2009 and I'm planning on wearing it again in May '10. The dress is made from faux suede but isn't nearly as heavy as i would like... I made the belt skirt by buying a standard 3 hoop skirt and removing the front panels of material. I then stitched belts to the hoop skirt (and finished with very sore fingers!) For May I have taken in the skirt and replaced the lace around the bottom of the skirt (as it got destroyed in the puddles in October). I have bought a new steel boned corset to replace the plastic boned one (always buy steel boned!) which now needs ribbon stitching to it and the fur attaching. Added more belts to the hoop skirt do it has less gaps and is longer. Bought a wig and styled it myself (which was sooo frustrating to do) Made the hair pins! So basically this outfit as pretty much been remade! :) LULU WILL BE RETURNING ONCE AGAIN FOR MCM MAY 2011!! Edited and sold to Kara Hook (Zelda). | |
