| Ever since I first came across the aniem Gunxsword I wanted to cosplay Van, espically since it was as yet an unknown anime when I was watching it. Finally got around to doing it, and although I got it done, and it turned out okay, there where a few problems with it once I put it on at the expo. Lost the band for round the hat, straps on coat started ot fall of, and the handle of my sowrd fell of and was lost also lol. But I'm still glad I attempted it, and if i did it agina will now know how to make it better. I'd say the hardest part was making the coat, since I didnt know the first thing about sewing, and thought altering a coat would be easier, but it still proved to be difficult. The easiest part was the boots,since I jsut went out and bought a pair that best matched what was needed. | |
