Should I do the Lcie mark? (Posted 20th October 2010) Expo is so close and I can't wait to rewear Hope, he's definately becoming my favourite cosplay. Also a big thanks for all the really nice compliments i've received for him, they really made me smile! ^^ Anyways I just thought i'd ask for peoples opinions on whether I should do Hope's L'cie brand. Is there any point because its mostly hidden beneath the yellow material on his wrist or do you think it would just be a nice touch to finish off the outfit? |

Finished and debuted (Posted 28th June 2010) So I finally finished my Hope Estheim cosplay and debuted it at Q-con. It was a lot of fun to wear and I got loads of compliments for it and was even lucky enough to win 1st place in the judged masquerade! More pictures to come from the proper photoshoot with other cosplayers as Zidane, Noctis and Lightning. |

Orange material ordered for cape thing lol (Posted 31st March 2010) Finally got round to ordering the material for the orange cape thing that goes round Hopes jacket (material I chose shown in pic!). I went for corduroy because after studying pics of Hope I realised that the material does have texture to it. It looks more like knitted fabric to me but I thought knitted fabric would be to hard to work with so I went for the next best thing in my eyes. Just need to add a zip to it and a small darker orange stitch round the edge. :) |
