| I got my chobits artbook like a good fan and i saw the picture of Dita and Zima and i was like; 'WOOOOOW must...cosplay...' i wasn't entirely sure if i should do that one or the usual one, as it would be so much easier but meh well i shall try this version as its uber-awesome oookay...here goes I made the coat simply by sewing three rectangular pieces of black lined with purple together and leaving arm holes xD For the belts, i used ribbon and i bought some thing that made it possible to put belt stud thingys in the ribbon. i bought 3 cheap belts from poundland, and used the belt buckles off them. For the bracelet things, i made them from craft foam, and made silver things out of fimo to look like buckles, as its hard to find any the perfect size. I made the armwarmer from polycotton, and i sewed on the ribbon. i bought long black gloves and cut a hole in one of them for the glove on her other hand. i already owned a black belt like the one on my leg, and i took off the charms off some bracelets and used those chains. I bought a pair of long black socks, and cut holes in one of them (which is UBER funsies!!!). I already owned the boots, shorts and the vesty top with a high neck which was useful. The wig was cut and styled by me fi and charlie for my kyoya cosplay, it looked awful as his hair, but worked for dita, so yaay!. on the day, i taped the belt to my leg, and glued the bracelets to my arms (which hurt like HELL!). So yeah, tadaah! if you read this, you get pocky ^_^ BTW: If anyone has any pictures of me in this costume can you please comment and send me a link or something, as I only have those two of me wearing the completed version XD | |

There are not many Dita cosplayers around, but from what I've seen your probably one of the best. Putting your progress pics next to the reference is kinda scary because you resemble the character really well. If I ever see you at an Expo, I must get pics!
