Odds and ends (Posted 2nd March 2010) Still picking up bits and pieces, studs and buttons are now sorted. Still need a few major things, such as the boots, they are a total nightmare, any suggestions welcome! I need some gold fabric too, probably looking at a decent satin (oxymoron). Wig should be sorted soon, one of the next things to think about is make up... and and starting! It's all together in my head now though, not so scary anymore! |

It begins... (Posted 1st February 2010) Managed to pick up the material for the Jacket and cape, so far spent £85... this isn't going to be cheap. |

The Plan (Posted 26th January 2010) I've had to knock off Cid to do this one, so I better get it right! Going to get some materials this weeekend. I'm torn between a nice suiting material and a subtle velvet for the jacket. I feel that Velvet could look tacky if I am not careful. The frogging doesn't look too fun either. For the boots I'm thinking of "cowboy" style boots and then making covers. Those silver buckles down the middle look like those "skater" belt buckles don't you think? Haven't really thought too much about the sword apart from using plywood as usual. Get to use my new airbrush on it! |

How far you got with this costume now? I'm nearly done with mine so far, just the pants and shirt and boots and belt to go now for me^_^ I won't be wearing my costume at the Expo except for the Friday night at the PTI though lol
@Anime_Angel: Got loads to do! I'm worried about getting it done, so far I have a cape! I've got all of the bits so this weekend will be fun! Should be done though, I'll come see you on Friday will be cool to see you're work, you always do a great job and will be good to catch up!
