| well its ventus... in armour Spent so long on this armour, and its still not finished, but had a lot of fun wearing them, maybe one day ill be happy with it. so many unfinished aspects, but people seem to enjoy them, so thats good enough for now. | |

headache (Posted 21st January 2010) been working on the ear bits on the helmet, are an absolute pain to shape up to the helmet, and thne to make another that mirrors the other aswell as fits on the helmet in proportion -.-. and have just meshed them. I also trimmed some formt he front top of the helmet as it was a bit too long, and also along the top, and its now a more precise shape. |

It begins (Posted 19th January 2010) Have started work on ventus, and have started with the helmet. I slowly made a frame with wire and got some chicken wire, and started piecing it together, making a base layer to build on. quite pleased with how its coming along |

There isn't really anything I can say except just 'go for it'. Go from what you see. Gte good, allround ref picture and just style what you see. Hairspray, low temp hairdryer, then fix the ends together with glue (only if your sure that the spike is right though) otherwise just leave it, but the tips might split if not careful.
The helmet is getting there! =D

yea cant wait need to get some more mats, and need to sort the visor, cos then i can finish the helm, and see it in all its glory, and this will then spur me on!
Mate, I'm not the only one going mad with the details and the materials.
But I notice that I'm the only one that is not starting from the helmet.
