| First cosplay! Not fantastic but not bad, I feel. This was me learning to sew as I went so it looked rather shoddy close up. My friend made and trailered the top as I hadn't figured out how to sew curves yet! In retrospect using cardboard to support the bow wasn't genius. But it was relatively effective. Took a picture of the character to the hairdressers with me and told her I was going to a fancy-dress party >.> It took me a number of months as I stopped making it over my A-level exam period. Not a clue how much it cost ... trousers from charity shop, material from dunelms and an old t-shirt, haircut and dye ... most expensive part was definitely the converse! ...I feel cheap ... I was thinking of dragging it out again but I've lost weight so it'd need adjusting. Which also means my boobs've shrunk *sob* | |
