Well this was actually a dress I made for the cosplay ball in 2008 and wasn't meant to be Neptune at all. I just liked the pattern and found this gorgeous satin in John Lewis'. Then for the cosplay ball in 2009 I showed pics of the dress to NavigatorxNami when she mentioned she wanted to do Princess Neptune. So I figured why not do the same, so I grabbed my old violin and some turquoise eye liner and voila. It's not perfect and it's missing a few details but it was just for fun really. And to get some more use out of this dress D: It's too lovely to waste. Though ... it was FREEZING!! ...and I nearly skidded right into the pond >.<
