| Ahh Kurogane, my favourite character from Tsuabasa:RC ^^ I absolutly fell in love with this outfit when I saw this artwork, exclaiming to my friend "We HAVE to cosplay this! <3" and so we did - I as Kurogane and she as Sakura. It's just such a pretty coat! It is very comfortable to wear. Hardest part? Actually that was probably finding a good orange material lol. I don't know why but for some reason at the time I was making this coat I just could not find orange material... it was rather bizzarre. Other than that sewing the bias on I guess, which wasn't hard, just a little tricky and time consuming. Also a v hard part was finding a good spikey styled wig. I'm still not happy with it, but it's ok. I'd like to improve on the wig. I look so damn horrible in this wig... Easiest part? Umm...The base of the coat itself I guess. Most time consuming part = the sword! That sword took a lot of doing but I think it was time well spent ^^ My boyfriend did a lot of the swords actual construction as he makes props, and fabulous ones at that. So much thanks to him for that :) Fave part is probably the dragon on the back :P Least fave part I'm not sure, I would maybe like to have found a better coloured bias tape for the edging. | |
