| This is my cosplay version of Asuka Langley Soryu red play suit that I made for the London MCM Expo October 2009. As I am an experienced pattern cutter I found making the costume a piece of cake. The pattern is basically like a swim suit shape with added long sleeves, plus leggings worn under. For the shaping that’s done by modelling on the stand, a French cutting technique. I also made the clips from polymer clay which was also extremely quick to make. If any one is thinking to make a play suit like this or similar just email me if you need any help ;) |

You make a realy nice Asuka but why did you change the desing of the plug suit?
Oh yeah and why are you calling it a Red "Play" Suit instead of a Red "Plug" Suit?
its only my first try so as you can tell its nt perfect, and as for calling it play suit thats cos catsuits can also be called that, bt i guss i cd change it to plug suit, thexs any ways
Hey Esti! I loved seeing your Asuka cosplay you did so well making it!! (Its Sarah Byrne btw :P)
thexs, hay you on here too lol small cosplay world x
This is so impressive, i'd love to do the plug suit but don't think i'd do a good job so this Expo I'll be doing Asuka in school uniform instead >_< You're hair is perfect too...
Thexs, that's not my hair lollllll, it's a cheap wig that only cost me £20, as for the suit it really isn't that difficult. The pattern is basically a swim suit with long sleeves then a pair of leggings or tights under. It all depends if you want to make it out of skrach, x
Wow, that's a really impressive design!
