| This was made 2 weeks before minami along with the big sister. One of the hardest parts of this costume was sewing the leather patches onto the body suit as hand stitching leather, especially with thick thread is very hard. I had to use pliers on most of it. All of the head and accessories are made out of plastazote foam. It makes the entire thing pretty light considering. The head has several LED's and 2 fans all running off 6 AA's. The hand has 8 LED's and uses 3AA's. The drill uses a hand held screwdriver and is charged from a plug before use. I made the head a bit too big on this version, so I'll be re-making it for expo. | |

Body suit done (Posted 12th February 2010) Body suit done. Matt is pleased as it doesn't make his balls dissapear into his body like most of the trousers I sew for him. |

*double comment shame* im pondering around and im gonna start on a low(ish) budget daddy.. Cardboard coverd with fiberglass is seeming likely. i'll be doing a bouncer. it'd be cool to get some snaps with you should i get it done on time :)
Fibreglass is never cheap- I'd suggest trying some of the foam armour techniques out there if you're looking to go low budget on something. They tend to be a lot more comfortable than stiff armour too

thats pretty freakin sweet! .. i got the scaling wrong on the chest section and ran out of the materials i had stockpiled xD. so all my hopes are on yooooo xD ...

Great costume Tab (as all of this group).
I especially loved how the accessories like the drill looked genuinely metallic and quite heavy (you could virtually smell metal!) - yet were light and easy to maneouvre. A clever use of painting skills!
