Description
An offhand comment from a friend that I cosplay as Mario as my most well known outfit, suggested half-jokingly I do a formal version. That got the lightbulbs in my head for the Cosplay Ball and soon I was ready. Instead of dungarees, a tuxedo. Instead of flat pants, royal blue trousers. Red shirt and to top it all off, a red top hat made from the base. The hat, patch, moustache and gloves were all made (gloves from a previous cosplay) whilst everything else was bought but I was amazed at how well it turned out and the amount of kudos I got for a simple but eye-catching ball outfit.
